Biography
Peter Christian Lemberg was born in Salzburg (Austria). He studied classical and electric guitar, arrangement and composition. Later he studied flamenco guitar in Spain, where he has lived since 1997.
He began playing "world music" and jazz in Austria before starting his professional career in Spain as a flamenco guitarist. It is this genre that has predominantly influenced his style of playing; spending more than nine years working in "tablaos", flamenco companies, Mediterranean music groups and theatre.
Leaving behind flamenco, he returned to perform American music such as blues, swing and modern jazz until discovering the Argentine tango and South American music in 2012. These styles, briefly passing through traditional Neapolitan music, are his main occupation until he finally decided to launch his own project, "Suaraku".
Suaraku: from the Indonesian language, means "my voice".
